I feel like the highlight of this episode is the cameo from the game characters.

yep, the cameo's is what made this ep nostalgic. plus YMIR.

they haven't ask the locals though who's the hero haha. as rean is already known in public as the ashen chevalier. im pretty sure anyone in ymir would point them at the baron's house 😂

The team’s having a great time “scouting” the empire. Ymir has seen better days huh? No manju and the onsen is filled with ice cold water. Not quite the onsen episode I was expecting. Looks like it’s a Lavi and Ria team up ep this week. Let’s get that hot spring nice and hot!

So it was a mineral based monster that fuses with septium as camo the whole time. Lavi is a badass for being able to snipe that thing from that angle and timing her shot with Ria. The monster turned out to be so cute too. It’s nice to see Ria and Lavi bonding. Hot springs! Hot springs! Splash! Splash.

im not sure if that could be called sniping? i mean there is no scope. still a great shot though.

the freezing onsen means a drawback to all of ymir.... and they didnt even asked the baron for assistance.

Sniping doesn't really need a scope.

I guess this episode is all thanks to Iseria, if it weren't for her, this onsen episode wouldn't exist. Though it's not much, but thanks nonetheless. xD

Haven't played CS4 yet so I actually searched for "characters for CS3". But since there's a time skip after CS2(which this anime is all about), so I guess it should apply for CS4. XD

cs4 is a must haha.. and then reverie not really much a story... but the ending (new game plus) has some bits and pieces going through calvard area.

Man it feels nostalgic seeing the cities and some characters from the game. As always, Alisa's gesture whenever Sharon made fun of her. So, next will be Legram huh, Hope we are gonna see Laura

Okay, now it's just getting sad. If this is slated for a single cour, we really don't have time for this nonsense filler. The last episode was bad enough, but here we are, a third in and we're running out the clock with ghosts of nostalgia. We could be spending time actually building the nation of North Ambria, the coming battleground for the titular Northern War, or the status of the various factions of interest, including minor ones like the Septian church and the Bracer guild. We could be seeing signs of Erebonia gearing up for war, maybe have our jaegers investigate the Empire's Soldats: their manufacturing, specs and weaknesses, anything of substance. Instead our four stooges are sent on a mission of looking into one guy, and can't even do that without getting distracted by sightseeing.

Im moreso sad that we were promised a war anime and got spy show instead- like we don't have enough of those right now.

Why do they write YUMIR when it is YMIR?

Damn, I had a bad attention span last episode and now I'm completely lost on the plot.

The Empire invaded and took over one of the neighboring countries between it and its rival Federation. They easily took it over because they have a secret weapon (a powerful mech and its pilot).

One of the other countries between them is the MC's country.

The MC is on a mission to scout the Empire out for information about their secret weapon (the powerful mech and its pilot) so they can avoid being taken over by the Empire.

You forgot the part about it secretly just being a sightseeing trip. :P
